Relating to an Apostolic, Prophetic Team

Chesapeake Church International is an autonomous, elder-governed local church that relates to and partners with an apostolic-prophetic team of Ephesians 4:11 ministry gifts. We believe these gifts were given to plant, equip, build and strengthen the churches. Chesapeake Church International has developed relationships over the years with such an apostolic prophetic team called New Covenant Ministries International (www.ncmi.net)

Through the relationships developed with those who are a part of the NCMI team, and through a recognition of the gifting and anointing that are on them, Chesapeake elders regularly invite these friends, who are gifts to the church, to draw alongside to equip and build this local church.

The nature of this ministry is not prescribed or programmed, it is typically characterized by the diversity of the invited team member’s anointing and how the Holy Spirit unctions them. As important as regular “organized” ministry is, we also endeavor to set aside time to connect in a relaxed way with these couples who are ministering so as to build deeper relationships. One of the elders usually opens their home to the visiting team member while they are in town – this is also a part of developing relationship with these precious gifts from God.
