Grace Teams:

Greeting Team – This team is a very important team of people who will be the first point of contact to our visitors: it’s the first impression of our church that we offer to everyone. This will also include making sure all visitors feel welcome and have a general understanding of where they can find the necessary facilities and ministries (restrooms, child care, etc…).

Setup teams – these teams are responsible for the general setup of our venue so that Sunday services as well as other services run effectively. This would include arriving early and unloading the trailer, packing up after the service, setting out signage and assisting with the general needs of the leaders and worship team for that day.

Hospitality Teams – These teams are made up of two sub-teams: servers and caterers
Servers – These folk would facilitate the general setup and breakdown of the tables, coffee, KidzZone, etc… This team would also play a vital role in welcoming the newcomers as they will be standing behind the tables to coordinate and serve.
Caterers – these folk may or may not enjoy serving food, but they love preparing food, baked goods, etc… for all types of get-togethers.

Creative Team for Visual and Directional Aesthetics – This team would work on creating a welcoming environment, specifically for our Sunday gathering. This would include banners, directional signs, notices, and general aesthetics. Creating a well-communicated, modern, and welcoming atmosphere. This will be subject to ongoing changes as the church grows.

Sound – Members of the sound team are a vital support to the worship team and those ministering the Word. Events, conferences, and workshops may require the support of the sound team. They will work closely with the AV team. Their service includes unloading and setting up of sound equipment, operating the sound system, packing up after a service and loading the trailer.

Children’s Church – on different age levels
Walkers – this would include assisting with the children who are walking up through 2 years old
Kingdom Builders – This team works with the children ages 3 (and potty trained) up to 6 years old.
Treasure Seekers – This team works with the children ages 7 – 11 years old.

Media Teams – There are several teams of skilled individuals that make up this area:

Audio/Visual - This team is a group of skilled individuals who have a desire to serve the Church with all aspects that relate to media presentations for the worship, announcements, and the message. Occasionally they will also assist with brochures and capturing video/audio media for immediate and future use.

Website - These experienced and skilled individuals have a desire for clear, effective communication through creative media This would require consistent updating and communication with the elders and church staff. This team would also work closely with the AV and other media teams.

Networking and Promotional – These folk have a very specific experience coupled with a desire to show what God is doing to the world using different advertising vehicles such as Facebook, Flickr, Tweeter, Google, and other community ads. This team would have to work very closely with the eldership and church staff.

Property Maintenance – Ever pulled up at Shreve Mill and thought to yourself, “We need more lights in the parking area, the gardens need to be weeded, hmmm..I’d love to take a paintbrush to this place.” If you’ve had those thoughts, this might be the team for you. This team is dedicated to helping maintain and steward the Shreve Mill Property where we have our mid-week meetings. This team will help coordinate efforts where specialists or professionals are needed. The upkeep includes both indoor and outdoor maintenance.

Historian / Testimony – There is a tremendous power in testimony! The people in this team would be responsible for making the testimonies of the people consistently and readily available in various forms (internet, video, printed form, etc…). These people would also keep a record or history of what God is doing in CCI. Keeping of the testimonies motivates us to move forward in all that God has for us.

C.I.T.Y Team - Community Impact Team Year-round – These teams would serve our community – in a two-fold manner.
a. Some folk have a real heart for outreach – they’re passionate about taking the Kingdom of God to the streets and into the city – they burn with a desire to facilitate and organize outreaches, praying through hospitals and encouraging others to see what God can do in and through them.
b. Another side of C.I.T.Y. is a practical
